Sue Jacob

My name is Sue, an aspiring entrepreneur driven to help like-minded individuals turn aspiration into execution. I am currently pursuing my Certified Associate in Project Management certification, and hold an Associate’s in Natural Sciences while preparing to receive my B.S. in Biology with a concentration in Ecology this spring.

The last five years of my professional experience have been dedicated to clinical administration for big hospital names such as UCSF and Kaiser Permanente. I have taken up leadership roles and established paths for myself that would have otherwise been non-existent without a clear vision of what I wanted — nor the dedication to perform at my best with the end goal constantly in mind. As an undergraduate student at CSU East Bay, I was always looking for new opportunities — inspired by new challenges and potential connections. I was always someone who aspired big and somehow (eventually) got there.

For so many years, I believed it was luck that I would just be granted specific opportunities, until I realized these professional avenues would have not been fulfilled without my fear of being rejected. Cold emails? My best friend. Applying for roles challenging my capabilities? As familiar as a neighbor you see every day, when my applications endlessly piled up in talent acquisition networks. What seemed like a stretch turned into a potential pivot in my career. I gained endless experience exploring positions within my general interest, and rejection wasn’t a disappointment but rather a prospect for a different path to be possible.

As much as I have dedicated time and effort to build upon tangible skills and knowledge relevant to my career path, it became apparent to me that clarity is not something you wait for — it is something you build through action, reflection, and intention.

Clarity Collective was created from my understanding that I wanted to help others navigate uncertainty with structure, confidence, and a deeper awareness of who they are and where they are going.
